Partners In Education (PIE) PDF Print E-mail

The Franklin County Chamber of Commerce along with the Franklin County Board of Education have joined together to implement a program known as Partners-In-Education. The Partners-In-Education Program (P.I.E.) was formed in 1991 and as of March 1997, 139 Franklin County businesses and industries have joined in partnerships with 13 schools. The purpose of this program is to encourage businesses and schools to join resources to benefit the school system and the children. Along the way, the businesses discovered they reaped the rewards of the many thank you letters and gifts they receive from the students. Each year the Chamber and Board of Education hosts a Partners-In-Education Reception to honor the schools and businesses.
