Dr. Christy Pettes has a very unique medical practice. She specializes in the care of women and children. She provides full service obstetrical care as well as preventive gynecological care (e.g. pap smears) and many in-office procedures. She provides care for the newborn after delivery as well as routine childhood checkups and medical care. Her primary focus is her obstetric practice and this keeps her very busy. She enjoys getting to know her OB patients and welcomes their questions and concerns during this exciting time. Dr. Pettes is very supportive of patients who desire natural childbirth as well as those who desire a minimally invasive birthing experience. Dr. Pettes attended medical school at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and completed the University of Tennessee Family Medicine Residency Program at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
